Obituary of Robert Lewis Vieira

Robert Lewis Vieira, of Malden, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, December 27. He was 35 years of age. Born in Stoneham and raised in Malden, Robert was the son of Domingos M. Vieira of Tewksbury, and the late Michelle Vieira. Robert was a graduate of Malden High School, Class of 2003. While at Malden High, he was a member of the Football team and wrestling team; and also played baseball. Robert enlisted in the Army in 2006, serving in South Korea, two tours in Iraq, and also in Afghanistan. Robert was an avid Boston sports fan, and an amateur photographer. In addition to his father, Robert is also survived by one sister, Kristina Vieira of Malden; two brothers, Jordan and Jacob Vieira, both of Tewksbury; his step-mother Nellie Vieira of Tewksbury; his grandmothers, Maria Vieira of Woburn, and Carol Lewis of Medford; and one niece, Sophia Vieira. Robert is further survived by his aunts and uncle, Helia Morris, Lee Pariseau, Joseph Vieira, Leslie Callinan, and Suzanne Moreira; several cousins, and his faithful dog “Charlie.” The funeral will be from the Graham Funeral Home, 3 Arlington Rd., Woburn on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at 9:00 am, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 280 Main St., Woburn at 10:00 am.
