Obituary of Joseph J Goffredo

Joseph J. Goffredo, of Delray Beach, Florida; formerly of Stoneham; passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 20, 2020. He was 74 years of age. Born in Malden, he was the son of the late Joseph, and the late Marie (Carvalho) Goffredo; and he was the spouse of the late Dr. Joel D’Amico, who died in 2016. A skilled and talented Cosmetologist for over 50 years, Joseph worked at Salon Giavanna in Everett. He later worked part-time as a staff Cosmetologist at New Horizons Assisted Living in Woburn. Joseph retired to Delray Beach, Florida in 2016. Joseph was a man of many talents, including knitting, crocheting, and needlepoint. His colorful tattoo artwork was an expression of his creativity. He also had a “green thumb.” Joseph is survived by his loving siblings, Francis Goffredo and his late wife Patricia, John Goffredo and his wife Graceann, Marie Montville, and Mike Goffredo and his wife Rosemary. He is also survived by his beloved niece, Angela DiPerri, and her husband Ronnie; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, all who loved him dearly. Joseph was predeceased by one brother and two sisters, the late Joanne DeFelice and her husband the late Joseph, the late Robert Goffredo and the late Barbara Goffredo. A graveside service will be held at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett at a later date. Arrangements by the Graham Funeral Home, Woburn.
