Obituary of Sheila Rae Giacalone

Sheila Rae Giacalone, 39, of Amesbury passed away at the Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport on Monday, October 12. Born in Winchester on February 19, 1981, she was the daughter of Steven P. Giacalone and Jane L. Fanjoy. Sheila was a lifelong resident of Reading, MA, and a graduate of Reading High School, Class of 1999. Sheila loved the town of Reading, the New England Patriots, her two fur babies, “Layla” and “Iyya” and her family and friends, and life itself. In addition to her mother and father, Sheila is also survived by her sisters, Stefanie Bueti and her husband Steven of Stamford, CT; and Andrea D. Mackey of Reading, MA. She is also survived by her nephews, Aidan, Callan, Francesco, and her niece Isabella. A graveside service will be held at the Woodbrook Cemetery, 100 Salem St., Woburn on Monday, October 19 at 11:00 am. Per current Covid-19 restrictions, we kindly ask that that everyone in attendance wear a face covering, and observe social distancing guidelines.
