Obituary of Warren L. Rothberg
I, Warren Lewis Rothberg, of Newburyport, was given this gift of life, and after 77 wonderful years, it's time for me to return it. This is an extremely difficult thing that I do, but I have been an incredibly lucky man and for this I am eternally grateful.
I was born in Providence, RI. on September 2, 1946, and on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, I passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully, in my comfy recliner.
I love and adore my two sons and my grandchildren, my daughters-in-law, amateur radio, my classical guitar, and airplanes of all kinds. But more than anything, I love my soul mate, Donna, and the magnificent 48 years of marriage and adventure we shared together. I am so thankful to each of you for such a wonderful life.
I leave behind my sons, Rob and Aaron and my breathtaking grandchildren, Ryan and Amber, whom at their young ages have already achieved things that most will never accomplish in their entire life. I could not possibly be more proud of the remarkable young adults you have both become. Don't grieve for me, I am at peace. I take my mortal leave of this topsy-turvy world and go now to join my soulmate Donna, my long-lost family, friends and my cats who have waited so patiently for me all these many years. And as for my love of practical jokes, I timed this Rob while you were 9000 miles away on the other side of the globe. I WIN! Ha-ha!
Peace and love to each and every one of you.
