Obituary of Dorothy C. Kiklis
Dorothy C. (DeMarkles) Kiklis, 87, of Woburn, passed away at the Sawtelle Hospice House on Monday morning, October 17. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis C. Kiklis who died in 1981.
Born and raised in Brighton, she was the daughter of the late Michael, and the late Katherine DeMarkles. Dorothy came to Woburn in the 1950s. She was a faithful and devoted member of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church in Woburn. She sang in the church choir, and was a member of the Ladies Philoptochos Society.
Dorothy also loved to play the piano. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother, whose family meant the World to her.
Dorothy is survived by three sons, Dana Kiklis and his wife Christine of York, Maine; Louis C. Kiklis, Jr. of Townsend; and Michael Kiklis and his wife Zoe of Alexandria, Virginia. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Nicolina, Julianna, Katrina, Anastasia, Katherine, and Elizabeth Kiklis.
A funeral service will be held at the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 70 Montvale Ave., Woburn on Friday, October 21 at 11:00 am. An hour of visitation will be held prior to the service at church from 10:00-11:00 am. Burial will be at the Woodbrook Cemetery in Woburn.
