Obituary of Isabelle M. McCabe

Isabelle M. McCabe, 68, of Hampton, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, August 7. She was the wife of Stephen Gentile. Born in Cambridge, and raised in Winchester, she was the daughter of the late Joseph E., and the late Lillian (Keiley) McCabe. Isabelle was a graduate of Winchester High School, and the Massachusetts College of Art & Design. Isabelle worked as a Health Physicist at the Seabrook Station Nuclear Power Plant for many years. Prior to her retirement, she worked at Radiation Safety & Control Services (RSCS) in Seabrook, New Hampshire. Isabelle was a talented artist. She also enjoyed travelling, reading, and collecting antiques. Most of all she loved spending time at the beach and on the water. In addition to her husband Stephen, Isabelle is survived by her siblings, Joseph McCabe, Jr. and his wife Victoria of Scituate, John McCabe and his wife Lisa of Woburn, Bobby McCabe and his wife Lucille of Woburn; and she was preceded in death by one brother, the late Matthew McCabe, and survived by his wife Melissa McCabe of Seabrook, NH. She is also survived by her niece and Goddaughter, Aislin McCabe; her nephew and Godson, Robert McCabe, Jr.; and her nieces and nephews, John McCabe, Jr., Jennifer McCabe, Gino McCabe, Molly McCabe, Kelly McCabe, and Morgan McCabe; as well as many great-nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be at the Graham Funeral Home, 3 Arlington Rd., Woburn on Monday, August 15 from 4:00-8:00 pm. The funeral will be held from the funeral home on Tuesday, August 16 at 9:00 am, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Barbara’s Church, 138 Cambridge Rd., Woburn at 10:00 am. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Isabelle’s memory may be made to the American Lung Association, 1200 Hosford St., Suite 101, Hudson, WI 54016 (www.lung.org)
