Obituary of David F. MacDonald

David F. MacDonald, a lifelong resident of Woburn, passed away at his home after a long illness. He was 62 years of age. Born and raised in Woburn, he was the son of the late Robert J., and the late Jean S. (Dango) MacDonald. David was a graduate of Woburn High School. Prior to his retirement, David worked as a taxi and limousine driver for area companies. He also worked for Dole & Bailey in Woburn. David was always “young at heart.” He was an avid pool and video game player, and enjoyed singing karaoke with friends. He also loved spending time at Hampton Beach. David will be missed by his many friends and family. In addition to his parents Robert and Jean, David was also preceded in death by his step-father, the late Harold “Ziggy” Essigmann; and his two brothers, the late Bernard, and the late Robert MacDonald. He is survived by his two sisters, Patricia Downs and her husband David of New Hampshire, and Kimberly Sundberg and her husband Jason of Hubbardston; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A graveside service will be held at the Calvary Cemetery in Winchester at a later date to be announced.
