Obituary of Barbara L. Olson

Barbara (Anderson) Olson, 78, of North Andover, formerly of Winchester and Woburn, passed away at the Beverly Hospital on Thursday, June 9. She was the loving wife of Paul A. Olson. Born in Winchester and raised in Woburn, Barbara was the daughter of the late Earle G., and the late Elizabeth (Nelson) Anderson. Barbara was a graduate of Woburn High School, and Northeastern University where she earned a degree in Art History. Prior to her retirement in 2001, Barbara was a long-time Elementary Art Teacher in the North Andover Public Schools. She was an accomplished and talented artist. She worked mainly in pen and ink and etching, also in oil painting and calligraphy. Barbara was an avid reader and lifelong learner. In addition to her loving husband of 55 years, Paul; Barbara is survived by her twin sister Betty Hosford and her husband Luther of South Hamilton, Massachusetts. She is also survived by her cousins, Judy Graham Boedecker, Jim Graham, and Carl Boedecker and his wife Erika. Barbara’s services will be private. Arrangements by the Graham Funeral Home, Woburn.
