Obituary of Kevin E. Anthony

Kevin E. Anthony, a lifelong resident of Woburn, passed away comfortably at home Friday, January 21st at 68 years of age. Born December 23, 1953 in Boston and raised in Woburn, he was the oldest of 4 children of the late William F. and Thelma A. (Weldon) Anthony. Kevin attended Woburn High School and graduated in the class of 1973. In the mid 70’s Kevin followed in his grandfather's footsteps and joined the Somerville, MA Auxiliary fire department. He was a proud member of the Teamsters Local #379 and #25 for more than 30 years. Kevin was a longstanding member of the Irish American Club, The City Club, and Woburn Lodge of Elks. Kevin would often seek solitude on weekends in Shapleigh, ME and on Mousam Lake. In addition to his parents, Kevin was preceded in death by his daughter, Alexis Anthony and her daughter, Summer. He is survived by one son, Adam Anthony and his fiancée Paige Emmons of Woburn; and four grandchildren. Kevin is also survived by 3 siblings; Keith Anthony, Kerrie MacIsaac and Karen DeAngelis. A celebration of Kevin’s life will be held at the Graham Funeral Home, 3 Arlington Rd., Woburn on Saturday, February 5th at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be prior to the service on Saturday from 11:00am to 1:00 pm.
