Obituary of Bruce W. Eldridge, Sr.

Bruce W. Eldridge, Sr. - Our beloved Bruce Wayne Eldridge Sr. passed away on Tuesday, January 18. He was 65 years of age. Bruce grew up in the White Mountains of New Hampshire and moved to Woburn, Massachusetts, to start a family. He was the son of Charlotte Eldridge (Weed) and John Eldridge, who preceded him in death. Bruce is survived by his wife of 40 years, Maria Eldridge; his daughter Kristen Eldridge-Loparco and fiancée Tyler Tuccio; and son, Bruce Wayne Eldridge Jr. and fiancée Jessica McDonald; and two brothers, Peter Eldridge and Kenneth Eldridge. Bruce was predeceased by one brother, Douglas Eldridge, and two sisters, Susan Lightbown and Betsy Wilson. He is also survived by his grandchild, Marlee Eldridge. Bruce is further survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Bruce was retired and worked part time at Kohls. He enjoyed his retirement years surrounded by his family. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Barbara’s Church, 138 Cambridge Rd. in Woburn on Monday, January 24 at 10:00 am.
