Obituary of Carol A. Vantol
Carol A. Vantol, a loving mother, nana, sister, and longtime Woburn resident; lost her short battle with covid, and passed away at Winchester hospital with her daughter at her side on Friday, January 7. She was the daughter of the late Charles A Sellon, Sr. and Clara T (Skowyra) Sellon.
Carol was a graduate of Woburn High School. She worked most of her adult life for the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in their appointment office. Over the years, she often vacationed on the Cape, and made day trips to Gloucester whenever she could. She was firm in her faith over the years and was an active member of Blessed of the Lord Church in Woburn.
Carol was a kind hearted woman who enjoyed crocheting, arts and crafts, the beach and she loved her popcorn! She was a big animal lover and she especially loved collies. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and with her grand fur babies.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Rachael M. Montanez and Rachel’s wife Carmen; and her son, Samuel A. Vantol. She is also survived by her three brothers, Roderick Sellon, Charles Sellon, Jr. and his wife Joanne, and Robert Sellon and his wife Susan. She is further survived by two grandchildren, Kyle and Riley, and her many nieces and nephews and her unofficial grandchildren that she loved and adored over the years.
Due to the current COVID-19 conditions, the family will wait to hold a celebration of life gathering at the American Legion Post 101, 194 Lexington St., Woburn on April 24 at 2:00 pm. Arrangements by the Graham Funeral Home, Woburn.
