Obituary of Kenneth W. Nelson

Kenneth W. Nelson, of Lynn, formerly of Woburn, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 22. He was 60 years of age. Raised in Woburn, Kenny was the son of the late Arthur, and the late Carole (Jones) Nelson. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a skilled mason and commercial paver. Kenny was an avid motorcycle enthusiast. He loved life, family, and his friends. He was a devoted father to his son Steven, who he adored and was so proud of. Kenny is survived by one son, Steven P. Nelson and his girlfriend Nadia Pich of Lynn; and he is also survived by Steven’s mother, Diane (Paul) Nelson of Canada. Kenny also leaves his siblings, Glenn Nelson and Jackie of Woburn, David Nelson and Mary of Merrimac, Laurie (Nelson) Donovan and Kevin of Woburn, and Matthew Nelson and Ruth of Lowell. He is further survived by eight nieces and nephews, Jack & Carly Donovan of Woburn, Shane & Christine Nelson of Merrimac, and Nathan, Arthur, Ryan, and Natalie Nelson of Lowell; and he was preceded in death by one nephew, the late Eric Nelson. A celebration of Kenny’s life will be held at the Graham Funeral Home, 3 Arlington Rd., Woburn on Sunday, January 2 at 2:00 pm.
