Obituary of Arthur C. Pernokas

Arthur C. Pernokas, a lifelong resident of Woburn, passed away at his home on Friday, December 3, 2021. He was 72 years of age. Born in Winchester and raised in Woburn, he was the son of the late Charles, and the late Isabel Pernokas. Arthur was an avid boater and collector of many things. Arthur is survived by one sister, Barbara Morrison and her husband Robert of Mineral, Virginia; two nieces and one nephew, and many great-nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Arthur was preceded in death by one sister, the late Constance Govatsos, and one brother, the late Charles Pernokas, Jr. A funeral service will be held at the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 70 Montvale Ave., Woburn on Wednesday, December 8 at 11:00 am. Burial will be private. Contributions in Arthur’s memory may be made to the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 70 Montvale Ave., Woburn, MA 01801.
